Give Me A Sign

The grenadier pulled aside the flap of their tent, squinting in the Shallows as the preachers cleared their throats and filled the chill air with the Canticles. There was more junk piled up beside their sign: a glass bottle, an empty injector, and a folded note all reeking of wine. The grenadier shook their head, wondering if the strange sight would bring any more pilgrims and travelers into their shop.

 

This a mod for Caves of Qud by Freehold Games, made as part of the 2024 Vignette Mod Jam. It adds the junk and words of a love drunk fool, randomly encountered wherever lovable signs are found.
