Scarapple

In the deep dewy jungles and betwixt the baroque ruins of Qud, grows the scarapple tree, with its tasty (and ambulatory) fruit which it happily tosses to passersby (at high velocity). Most give it a wide berth, but some desperate waterhands seek out the territorial tree for the healing promise of its ever-growing fruit.

 

This a mod for Caves of Qud by Freehold Games, made as part of the 2023 Monster Mash Mod Jam. It add a new mutated tree to the game, as well as its fruit in walking, edible, and jam form.

 

This mod is released under Creative Commons Zero and is thus in the public domain. The code can be found on Github.
